Possumzilla is no more!
« on: March 01, 2010, 05:46:49 AM »
My cagey adversary is no more.  This morning I was taking my daughter to school and found him squashed on the side of the road.  I think I even hit him once with the air gun, but he just shook it off and kept going.  After that I wouldn't even shoot at him anymore as I started to think he was invincible.  Well today he fell-to a one ton automobile.

Here is the last video I have of him:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mWCfMRMISs

Rest well my worthy foe, may there be lots of cheese pizza in Possum heaven.  He survived an entire hunting season, only to be cut down just prior to breeding season-the indignity.   :emoticon:

Sorry to hear you won't get another chance at him Randy. That thing would be quite a trophy, even if just in pictures.

Here's hoping there's more like him.

Sorry to hear that this mighty foe met his end as "road pizza"  :(

But like Ed said, perhaps he had a chance to pass on his genes before he met his end.....

That's too bad Randy.. I was enjoying the videos of him but my tirgger finger was itchy too every time I saw him :)

There was 1 dead skunk on the road a block from my house the day before the big snow storm last wee. I must say I was very happy to see that.  I recognized it and it was definitely one of the 3 skunks that are regulars on my property.  I prey they all get run over so I can get a break from the Ding Donger and get some sleep at night!!  :D
