A problem you gotta help with.....

Since you guys got me addicted to air rifles, it's up to you to help me out..( JUST KIDDING ) I've been looking at 22 caliber guns lately and the Cometa has caught my eye. They sure do look great but I can't find dealers for that line. All I've found is an outfit called Pamona Airguns. Going to their site, it says they have no email capabilities and you should fax orders. I don't have access to a fax machine nor do I like the idea of placing an order over an open phone line. I'm not even sure that you can mail an order because it also asks that you do not send anything via USPS to that address...( I'm not sure what that part means..no mail at all or just packages?) Does anyone know if there's other places in-country that sell these rifles? I see lots of sites on the internet but they're mostly in the UK and not here. All input is greatly appreaciated...Thanks folks.

Thanks for the reply, Gene. I dislike placing orders via telephone. I've had problems in the past with phone customer service. A couple of my orders were mis-heard by Pyramyd Air reps and it took several emails and more phone calls to get it squared away. It then became a case of CYA by them...."He (meaning me) really didn't say that, he said this.." sort of thing. Nothing written so I couldn't prove what I had actually ordered. After that, I vowed never to order anything from anyone over a phone. I was hoping there was some site that I might access and get more info about the Cometa.

Manou Bros. is a dealer/distributor; their dealers are both Pomona and Air-Venture. Both of these sellers are smaller outfits that have excellent reputations in California. Air-Venture is at http://home1.gte.net/avairgun/about.htm
