In this neck of the woods, normally around 70" - this year quite a bit less, maybe 50-55" so far. Of course it's not over here yet, last year we had snow in April. Guess a LOT of it tracked a tad further south this year, ... heh, heh. ;)

Up until this last week we were running less than usual. While checking the weather reports last Wedensday night Syracuse (up wind of us) said they were at only 78 inches for the season so far. From there to about 20 miles  north of us, they avg 120 inches for the Winter.

We're lucky here because  the shape of the hills and valleys steers the snows around here  making a "snow hole". Go five miles in any direction and they get almost double the 4 feet  we usually get.

But when we get Noreasters...... since that big snow storm started a week ago, yesterday was the only day it didn't snow. We've had  a total of about 3 feet of wet heavy snow  in this past week.

Could be worse though. Back in the mid 90's we had alot of Noreasters that dumped over11 feet that Winter. My kids spent much of the Winter playing in snow trenches because the snow was over their heads. Still had some snow in shady spots in the begining of June !!!

I hear ya, - back in Maine one winter we had over 160", but almost NO major storms. Just snow at least 4 days a week, - lotta shoveling.
