I hate selling, things just don't go right for me... EVER. :-(

So I listed and sold a couple of 13xx air pistols. And being the relative newb I am I guess I just didn't check them over well enough. I had shot them a lot last summer, and put a few pumps into each of them and put them in my gun cabinet. They still seemed to be holding air Sunday night, so I put them up for sale. Well sure enough, the person who received one of them already has a problem with it, and the money order for the other one hasn't come yet but I'm not sure that's working right either. I mean, I can pump it up and fire a pellet...but when I pulled the trigger after leaving it with pumps in it for the past couple of days, it had no air in it! WTF!? Why me? Why such crap luck with air pistols? ARRRRGH!!!!! What did I do wrong? I honestly feel like I've been punched in the gut, I spent the money already for the one I sent off already...but my name means a lot to me so I'm not gonna burn these guys.

Sometimes I REALLY hate selling stuff online.

What the heck do I check on things before shipping anyway? I thought I did check everything!

Don't beat yourself up over it. You sold them in good faith. Those guns, particularly when getting old, can go South in a heart beat. They could well have been holding when you sold them and soured soon after. That's why they make reseal kits for them. And your prices seemed very reasonable. Almost went for the .22 myself. I think you are being very upfront about it, too.

Sirnomad... which one came back? the one with the cherry colored grips? I am not afraid of projects so let me know if you'll sell it again. I got my 1377 in .22 shooting RWS hobbies at 770 fps with 25 pumps... ; )
