B3-2 sight removed
« on: March 04, 2010, 12:11:10 PM »
I did a teardown of one of my B3-2s today.  Deburred, polished, replaced spring and seals.
It is now shooting great.  More power and very smooth.

After putting it back together, I kept looking at the ugly front sight.
I removed the 3 pins and took off the sight.

Now I need to put something over where the sight was. THe barrel looks
like crap where the sight was.

Is there a cheap muzzle break or something available for this rifle?

I really do not want to cut off the barrel

Most of the B owners around here just custom made a break for the end. Some of the family here may know of a aftermarket break that will fit the barrel properly, chime in guys and gals. Ed

A fellow made a cheap muzzle brake from a piece of PVC pipe and shows how he did it at this website:  http://webpages.charter.net/guru1/documents/

It looks better than you think it might!
