Good looking buck. Congrats on getting such a fine looking trophy. Easy to see why it would be such a great memory.

Was that taken out there on the Island, or somewhere on shore ?

Nice buck there. I'd have to get more that a few of my muzzleloader bucks together to total 14 points.

Great to be able to have that situation.

From the PBS show that was on recently, I see you also have quite alot of Skunks out there too. Hard to imagine how some not-so-small poor swimming critters get out on Islands far off shore, but they find a way.

Good luck with your future hunts.

THANX GUYS...Paul you couldnt imagine the skunk problem.. i count anywhere from 2 -5 daily road kills....there are lots bunnies as well.  no coyotes or fox on the island .  So  all they have to look out for is people...they really thrive here..

I remember my first dear I shot as a kid growing up in Maine it was a doe and she gave me a heck of a time... Hardest part for me is when the old man made me dress her out. He said you shot it you clean it boy...... I'll remember that for the rest of my life..

i clean and butcher all my deer. last season was one of my worst only got three,  all does....usually i average about 7 deer each season.. the most ive got in one year was 11.....the vineyard is great unlimted doe tags, 5 dollars each tag.....i  shot a hermaphadite once. wich is a doe with antlers,  its very unusual...she was a 5 pointer all on one side..the funny thing is that they dont shed there antlers so i got her in velvet.....
