Crosman 1377's first job
« on: March 06, 2010, 05:21:33 AM »

It was a chilly 57 degrees and too much sunlight  :p But still manage to bag a first strike for my modded 1377 carbine. I pumped her 10X and had Beeman pointed 8.3gr then clickkk,..and heard the pellet hit the fence post where he's coming down. I figured I missed at 13 yards after the bugger flipped and disappeared from my view. I saw the pellet partially embedded on the post and 7 feet away from where I shot it lay a lifeless nutter. From this first on my pumper, I will use wadcutter on shot less than 20yrds or use 6 pumps for the 8.3 Beeman pointed so I don't over penetrate and make unnecessary impact noise other than the critter. 10 pumps I get 724fps with 7.9 CPHP and figured with the 8.3 pointed would be in the high 600's.

Excellent shot with your modded 1377 carbine.  Lights out for that nutter at only 13 yards distance....
