New PCP for me.

I need a heavy duty PCP,  10 shots;

BSA or AIR ARMS - comparison oranges with oranges, no doubt.

Options until $800-$900

Heavy duty? As in power delivered to the target? Evanix Blizzard if you want it quiet. Evanix AR6 if you don't mind the noise. Either will easily beat the power of the two you have listed. The quality of the Blizzard I purchased is very nice. Clean, well done, beautiful wood and blueing on the barrel.

I just got a AA S400 (a single shot S410) and been test it the past week. I’m really liking this gun. It’s hard hitting and accurate. Not to heavy and not very loud.

I don’t know anything about the BSA (beside it’s now made Gamo).

Hope this has helped Gerald.

a evanix rainstorm 10 shot clip the level of loudness is rated a 2 which is low like the marauder and has a 1lb trigger pull with a 46.3 fpe from the muzzle for less than 700 dollars u cant go wrong and these r great airrifles your neighbors wouldnt even know what u r doing the other is the evanix ar6/ar4 60fpe and its shrouded and the noise level is a 2 which is low check it first before makin a desion if i had the money i would choose one of the ones i mentioned the blizzard is another fine airrifle that a few could speak about in this forum its the complete package i have always liked the evanix but cause of thwe loudness i have stood away plus i couldnt afford it but the wheels r in motion and this year will be for at least one or two dark siders and the rainstorm will be one of them for sure and since im only 5'8" with a short reach this will be perfect and the disco i have in maine that my son has ,well i would like another in 177 for distance .check it out geraldo on pyramid air .....jorge

I have a BSA 22 cal. Scorpion Bullbarrel. It's very quiet and very accurate. Quiet enough that it doesn't scare the game away. There were three Squirels in a Maple tree in my back yard munching Maple Blossoms. I got all three from about forty yards.

I own an AA S410Classic .22 bolt action, AA S410ERB side lever .22, BSA S10 Mk3 .22 and a BSA Ultra Multishot .177 and the nice thing about all of these PCP's is they did not require any tuning whatsoever. They all shoot with pinpoint accuracy right out of the box.
The S410 side lever is by far the easiest all around to load and shoot, I prefer it over the bolt action it is really smooth.
