Good idea or not?

Sometimes I have trouble loading pellets in my TX200 and the Diana 52. I grasp the pellet, line it up with the chamber and promply drop it.Most of the time I can load em without fumbling but once in awhile I can't load one to save my life...Turn the rifle over, dump the pellet out and start all over. I'm sure you that have these rifles know what I mean....I've seen this problem addressed in the forum several times with many good loaders suggested. One that I have not seen is a percussion cap holder.You fellas that shoot caplock rifles know what I mean. Do you think one of those holders will hold a  pellet and fit into the chamber of the 200 or the 52? I think such a holder would only be useful as a single loader. Some of the ones I've seen are narrow and flat which is the right shape to fit in the loading port of the airgun.
 Anyone tried one of these? What do y'all think...would it work? Please give me your thoughts....good and bad. Thanks, folks.

Hi Larry, I load my sidelevers almost in a vertical position. The AG's buttstock is resting on the rightside of my hip the barrel is pointing about 120 degrees away from me, I cock the sidelever with my right hand until it catches and then I reach for pellet with right hand then place my elbow and upper arm between sidelever and breech, with mythumb and forefinger I balance pellet and insert in a upward motion with thumbinto breech. Loading this way I can do it standing or sitting. As far as the pellet loader being sold now IHMO they are good for breakbarrel springers. The siderlevers do not have the room for the loader to insert straight into the breech. Your thumb fits in there quite easily....LOL,LOL........Shoot Safe and Enjoy.......Bill

I have an old inline capper that I never got the hang of for revolvers. Might give it a try and let you know.

ps - Probably only good for .177 since percussion caps for those are small.

I have a real nice shiney brass cap holder that I tried to use with pellets. I found out that none of my .177 pellets were as short as the caps and the lid would not close. It seemed like a cool idea.

Say Bill, that rifle position might work. Up until now I have always held em almost straight out from the body. Thanks for the idea.
 Feather, I'd appreaciate the input should you try the inline capper. Both of my air rifles are .177.  I don't have muzzle loading revolvers and I never tried an inline on my muzzleloading rifles... don't even have an inline capper. I never fired em fast enough to justify owning one.
