We had more  Robins this winter than any other year that I can remember here in Central Florida. They must have known it was going to be a rough winter. Still see quite a few around,  so winter might not be over yet. I think ours is over though, it reached 80 degrees today. Stay warm, snookman

It seemed funny to me Dave,

But before each of our three main snow storms the robins came in, and left just when the snow started ?

It seemed strange, but just what do I know about robins habits ? A few blue jays were also with them ?

Here in NY, i saw robins all year. They where hanging out in the thickets in the woods. I don't think all of them go south, only the smart ones 8)

A couple weeks ago, when we in the midst of the blizzard and I was walking the dog down the bobsled runs we used to call sidewalks, we came upon a flock of birds flittering back and forth between the trees on either side of the street. I had a hard time placing them as they were pretty puffed up and sounded mad as all get out. Later, they came into our backyard. Turned out to be a bunch of poor robins. Bet they weren't counting on about twenty inches of snow and a high of only twenty degrees!
