WTB: Foster quick connect adapters
« on: March 11, 2010, 05:52:12 AM »
I have an FX 3-stage hand pump and a FX gladiator and Marauder.  Does anyone know of a cheap supplier of the foster adapters and extension hose?

Foster connectors aren't rated to 3000 PSI unless they're stainless steel on both the male and female sides. I got stainless steel connections from North Shore Compressor & Equipment. As far as the extension hose, I believe the FX hose has the 1/8 BSPP fittings? Or is it BSP? Your best bet for that hose, and cheapest, is if you can find a place in your town that makes hydraulic hoses. I paid $18.05 locally, including tax, for the hose for my fill setup, and it would have cost me close to $40 to order it online.

Have you tried Pyramid Air? How about http://www.northshorecompressor.com/parts/paintball-accessories.html North Shore Compressor?

You guys are great.  I have followed up with all the suggestions and the issue I have is that my FX pump and Gladiator has BSPP (British Standard) threading whereas paintball equipment have NPT thread standards.

Pyramid is so far the only one with BSPP adapters.
