Tools???

While I have access to a fairly complete shop I was wondering what I should have for working on my air guns, my shop is set up mostly for woodworking and some metal & auto work. Seems like maybe I need miniature or small sized tools. I know this is a pretty general question but starting from scratch I kind of don't know what I'm talking about.

SPRING COMPRESSOR!!!!!!!! (if your working on springers)which it seems you have a decent shop setup so building one would be SUPER simple for you.... other then that will let others chime in but it'smostly basic handtools unless you get into the serious mods like cutting and rewelding pistons....

I don't know how much experience you have with firearms, But the first purchase should be a good set of gunsmith s crewdrivers They are hollow ground to fit the s crews perfectly so you don't strip out the slots. here is the set I have.  http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=223597                                            
 I also have the Wheeler Engineering FAT (Firearm Accurizing Torque) Torque Wrench Screwdriver so you don't overtighten things like scope rings and damage the scope tube. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=718023

Yep--- TCups pretty much said it all. And if you get into making guides and top hats and other small parts, you need a lathe and milling machine.

Small picks to remove o-rings, and e-clips.

1 and 2 inch Micrometers and snap gauges to measure OD's and ID's.
