Love Birds

My drought is over. Finally a target of opportunity

I will never be guilty of separating a couple.
Caught these two necking in my front yard today.
Actually, they were getting breakfast in bed (MY Feeder)
Sent them to the great Motel in the sky.
Gently dispatched them with my .22 BSA Lonestar, using Beeman Kodiak 21.0Gn extra Heavy.

What are they cow birds?  

All the birds are really scattered here right now.  I've not seen them in more than twos.  

Great shooting on the flying vermin!  I've got to get a ladder and climb up the side of my house. There is a hole in the side from a stoopid Woodpecker.  He isn't the problem, it is the cowbirds and starlings that use it for a nest that is a problem!

So that`s how Cowbirds look like....I`ve read about them....never bothered to search for their photos though.  Great shots at them with your "bb" gun and camera.
