A well placed shot should have dropped the Bandit even with the stress of a dog on his heel's. I can say that Bandit went through some needless suffering before he expired. :0 If one feel's that they can't make a clean kill then let the critter go and get em another day. The right shooter ammo and shot placement is a must when doing pest control. This Big Bandit went down quickly, 25yrd's Gamo Hunter Extreme.22 and one Predator pellet to the fusebox. Ed

Obviously, not a subscriber of the  " One Shot, One Kill "  philosophy.   How can one feel good about such sloppy work?

As hunters and recreational shooters it's up to those of us who cherish our "sport" to educate and even police our ranks. Attaboys and pats on the back when we do good, and chastisement when we do "bad". The storyteller here is guilty of faux pas illustrating the NEED to be trained in not only marksmanship and shot selection but ethics as well. Many states require applicants for hunting licenses to pass a hunter education class before a license can be issued. With good reason. Although the storyteller here wasn't exactly "hunting", pest removal requires the same ethics and skills as hunting. As for bragging about how much he enjoyed the experience in spite of the eleven shots required, I'm reminded of a the comic Bro. Dave Garner (dating myself) who remarked when a parishoner began to publicly confess to many sinful indiscretions " I D'ONT  BELIEVE I WOULD HAVE TOLD THAT ONE BROTHER"!!

Well, One would think it's a kid that's boasting about his kill.

Not worth posting or talking about.

With a name like alpha killa he is probably that little idiot kid with no friends that dominates his hamsters to feel good. ANd 11 shots he must have gut shot it everytime trying to hit the biggest part. What a waste.
