Things Are Starting To Pick Up
« on: March 13, 2010, 01:38:14 AM »
Spring must be coming soon - the birds are starting to migrate back.  I'm beginning to see the starlings, grackles, cowbirds and redwinged-blackbirds around here.  I dropped the first cowbird last Tuesday with a single Predator Polymag.  Today I took out another pigeon inside the farm's silo.  So the "pesting" should pick up now that spring is just around the corner.

Since the ice fishing is pretty much at it's end, I'll throw in some pics of the bigger fish I caught this winter.

Thanks Fellas!  The first fish is a 19" smallmouth bass that was 6" deep.  The second fish is a 27" pike.

Good luck hunting!!
