Another Frankenstein!
I've always wanted a Beeman/Webley C1 but was too cheap to buy one. So last summer I bought a Quest off a friend and decided to make a C! as I call it. It was meant to be a trunk (I don't have a truck!) gun! Nice and small!
Believe it or not I took it to a fun shoot and guys immediately asked if it was a C1. Guess they didn't look that close!
I chopped the barrel down to 12", replaced the rear guide and installed a Macarri Tarantula I had in the parts bin and recontoured the stock. I used Tru Oil and wax buffed it. I was using this in the summer when I was wearing T shirts so I added a butt spacer. Feels good but honestly when I shot it in the winter with a jacket on it seemed a bit long in LOP.
In one of the pics you can see it when I had a scope, GRT and Beeman brake on it. Looked really cool but already moved those parts to a new project.
Well, the reason I'm selling it is because I stumbled upon a real Webley C1. Lucky me. It is well used/abused but that's cool with me. There is a pic comparing the two.
Just for clarity the rifle as it sits now looks like the last pictures with the stock sights and trigger.
So, $65 plus shipping (the spring and guide with shipping cost me like $30). If you want the Beeman brake I'll sell it with the rifle for another $20.
First I'll take post here with follow up pm or email gets it.
