Dove dinner.
« on: March 14, 2010, 03:01:09 AM »
It's 8:50 in the morning, working on my first cup of coffee and just collected the first yellow beak of the day. I really nice bright black, almost purple male. After my photo session with yesterdays birds I got busy doing a honey do and when i remembered I'd left my birds lying on the lawn I went to get them. I was extremely disappointed to see the big Eurasian Collared Dove missing, I did a little search and found the dove and my cat under the trailer. I knew that dove would make a fine dinner, I just didn't think the cat was going to be the one to enjoy it. She had her choice of 3 Starlings or the dove, I guess I can't blame her for choosing the dove.
