Not here- in So. Cal. they don't carry guns or relatedin the store, I think to avoid offending our sensitive citizens. The online store has lots of cool stuff that we will never see down here.

Ours carries a good stock of powder burners and ammo, yes ammo, not to many people in New Jerkey shoot or defend the families and homes :o

But they are very light on good air guns, and the selection of pellets suck ! You;ll never see a RWS of Weihrauch air gun their, let alone a Beeman !

I have two with in 10 miles, but I just order from PA, DICK's doesn't cater or care for air gunners here !

P.S. And I guess that there arn't many of us stuck here either :p

No better than Sports Authority which is no better than Wal Mart in Airgun depertment here in Jacksonville Fl. Gander Mountain is much better than WalMart though.

In Georgia, AG  selection small.  Pellet selection even smaller.  Prices high on average.    Best value is the Crosman G-1 for about $100. here locally.

Wish I had some news you could get excited about.

Nothing to get excited about. Our local Galyans was bought out by Dicks. Used to have a fair to middling selection of pellets (no JSB's, etc), now it's Gamo or Crosman, only and precious little for .22's. The guns prices are no better than Pyramyd Air's, and you have to factor in local sales tax. Selection there is thin, as well. I was in Dick's a couple of days ago and checked out their gun department. They had some nice centerfire rifles on clearance, all of $10, $20 and $30 off. That's about 2%, 3%, 4%. I almost wet my pants at such deals....naw. ;-)

Dave,

"Prices are high too."

Yup !!! I think they're trying to pay off that new Dick's in Sangertown Mall.

And not long ago, could get some great sales on flats of Winchester AA Trap ammo this time of year at Dick's, but those days are over.

Our local Dicks is also so-so in airguns. I lucked into a deal on a couple of display models... gun prices about the same as elsewhere, some higher... as stated, poor selection on pellets...
