I know that this question has been asked a billion times but I really am not looking for opinions.
I need for somebody who has actually used automatic transmission fluid as "pellgun" oil for sometime and gotten good results with it.
As in no swollen o-rings, and not adverse effects on any internal parts or seals.
So, has anybody used ATF fluid for pellgun oil?????
Please share your results with us.
Thanks Ray

Hey Ray: save your self some greif and money and don't use transmission fluid in airguns! my 2240 that shot fine for over 10 years till I ran out of pelgun oil and tried some dextron as a replacment and after a short time I was  putting  a new cartridge in and it all blew out through the stem seal. A new valve stem is only a few dollars,a new valve is under $10 ND 30wt. motor oil is only $2 and will last for ever but in all the pumpers and co2 guns I have rebuilt and fixed for other people I  have seen  a big differance between guns that have only had pelgun oil used in them and the ones that had everything else put in them. There was no rusting of the valve springs in the guns that had used pelgun oil only all the others had rusted springs some so bad that the springs broke.I was lucky and got a bunch of free samples from the guy's at Lubrication engineers when I went down to there offices to talk to them about there products but I will be buying a qt. of their Monolec GFS 30wt motor oil befor I run out again. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/LE-Monolec-GFS-Engine-Oil,527.html
