One pellet, two targets (graphic)
« on: March 14, 2010, 11:58:57 AM »
My S400 is a single shot. Witch one do I take? Maybe if I line up just right, I can get both with one shot.

The one with his head in the cup, met his maker while eating from the bird feeder. The 15 yard shot was not much of a challenge for the S400.

Good shooting I say Glenn. Whenever live quarry walks into my target shooting picture I have to consider it a gift from God. I'm supposed to take that shot. Not much of a challenge you say with the S400?Well give yourself a little more credit. Live targets always raise my heart rate especially if I have a lot of time to line things up. That "hunter's rush" of adreniline and pounding pulse is what keeps me coming back. Not to mention all the great meals I've had since I killed my 1st squirrel in 1966. Even a gimme shot of 15 yds is sometimes missed. but you didn't. It wasn't blind luck, it was made luck. You have a fine accurate rifle and you know how to shoot it.You put in the trigger time to set it up right and are deservedly reaping the rewards of your investment. Not much of a challenge? When you do things right they are not supposed to be. Kudo's.

Good shooting, with the camera and the gun. About the time I get thinking that the 17 yard shot form my sniper position to the suet feeder is a chip shot is when my average goes to He!!. What does a S400 look like?

Take a look at the upper right hand corner of the video.  You can see the Gamo Squirrel target in the same poise as the squirrel :D
