Repairing a B26 Cracked Stock

Hello, there kinda newish here, but I have been lurking mostly for awhile.

I am on my second B26 stock, which has also begun to crack at the grip area. The first stock was the B26-2 low comb thumb-hole stock this one is the sporter stock. I can't figure out what I might be doing that could cause this except that maybe the replacement spring was very strong and might have sent some vibrations down the stock but one would think they would be fine for this.
I do not have a well tooled shop but I do own a drill or 2 a palm sander and palm grinder hand saws and 2 strong hands. How do I go about repairing this crack high up in the grip area. If I leave it I am wondering is anyone has experienced a stock actually breaking in half at this spot. I have not contacted Mike M about this yet as he replaced the original no charge and I have put several thousand rounds through this AG now.

The crack is not big enough to get any glue into it is more like a hairline crack same with the other stock.
How do I go about a repair, or should I just order a new stock.

Guys have reported success in the past by epoxying a 1/2" (?) diameter hardwood dowel or large (4" long?) screw through the wrist, spanning both sides of the crack.  You have to remove the action, then drill down into the wrist from the rear of the stock inletting, towards the wrist cap.   If you are careful not to drill an exit hole, the repair will be invisible once the action is installed.  Do a search on the forums if that doesn't make complete sense.  Timmy or someone even drew a sketch and posted some pictures in the last few months if I remember correctly.

Will stop off at the hardware store and get a dowel and some epoxy and a good grinding tip for my Dremil after work. Hopefully my replacement cocking shoe for the .22 will be in the PO box and I can have this girl back up by the weekend.

Hopefully you won't be able to tell once I am done. Trying to see the crack with the naked eye is hard enough as I went over the finish with polishing compound then used Black Magic Wet Look Auto wax to finish it off. Looks like it was dipped in glass.

Hole drilled and dowel epoxied in place. Will grind out the excess tonight and Crazy glue the crack tonight. No way to get any adhesive into the crack as it is very small.

Well that was easy I hope it holds up. Did a real long dowel flattened one side a little and scored it up good. Filled the hole up with 2 ton epoxy and shoved it in place. Used 3 large rubber bands around some more dowel in the action slot to hold the plug in place. let sit over night super glued the crack let sit over night. Last night I ground down the plug and sanded the super glue, then went over it with some 400, then 600, then 1200 sandpapers. Finished up with some McGuire's Scratch-X 2 and wet look car wax. Actually looks even better than it did. Will post a pic when I get a chance. Thanks Tim for your help.
