"This is deffinatly the " HOLY $^%* theres a heard of gorillas tearing the swing set apart" gun. So if your after 50lb squirrels that are shaking your kids down for their lunches at the bus stop, rampaging gorillas or charging mother inlaws this is the gun for you."

RWS Diana 350 Mag is a Hog!!!!

Finally got to hold one last week. A few of the hunting shops around here carry the RWS 34, but this is the first time I saw a 350 Magnum on display on a rack behind a counter. It was a .22 and I just had to feel and handle her. My God....she is heavy!!!! After just a few seconds...maybe 4 seconds....I already felt her weight on my leading arm when I shouldered her. The length of pull and overall quality is fine. The asking price is $540.00Can. !!!! Short RWS 4X32mm scope included.

I've read the stats on the RWSs....now I know how a 8.5lb 350 Mag feels like. I can imagine the 52 and 54 models' weight...they're .5lb more than the 350.

I think these air rifles are great to shoot off a rest or off a tree branch.....lugging them around in the woods would be heck!!!! On the plus side......the extra weight would reduce some muzzlejump abit I would think.

That is why I don't lug mine around too much especially when I'm scouting. They are very heavy, especially with a scope!  It didn't take me long to go with a light non-AO scope to keep the weight down.  In TN you can rarely shoot over 35 yards anyway due to all the trees, vines, bushes, etc.  Most of the time when I hunt a little 4 x scope is enough.

Also, mine doesn't like being shot off a rest.  Perhaps if it was tuned it would be they are pretty hold sensitive out of the box.  Though I love mine for stand hunting, I grab my Whisper or my TF 89 if I have to walk a lot.  Where I think it excels is hunting the bigger things like raccoons, skunks, and possums.  A couple guys even think they would work well for foxes.

I took mine done to the swamp last weekend and got it all sighted in for 20 yds and after about 25 shots I was starting to feel it from cocking it. I am glad I took my fishing pole holder it made a perfect shooting stick. It is definately a heavy rifle. Off hand will be a challenge. And $540 holy cow that's about 160 higher than pyrmid air. I paid 385 and got the rifle scope all the bases for droop compensation and a hard case.

I am looking at a sling for this thing cause carrying this thing gets old. But man what a shooter.

The salesman told me the RWS Diana`s are very expensive in Canada because only one distributor are allowed to order them from Germany. I guess that`s the contract they made with RWS Diana. So all the shops that want a/some RWSs need to order from them. They`ve the monopoly. Maybe in the U.S....there`s more than one distributor.....so the prices are alot lower.
