I saw a Randy Mitchell review of them online.  You may do a search.  It was on americanairgunhunter.com

The B40 is probably the best rifle BAM makes.  I have a MM .177 and love it.  I do not own a .22 B40, but I also consider a .22 TX400 a waste!  If you want a TX in .22 get the B40 instead!  Save a few bucks.

Very few folks buy the TX in .22.  Im sure the TX in .22 is sweet, but that fine rifle with that fine stock, will wind up in the rain getting messed up on a hunt!  Why not mess up a B40 .22 instead?  And keep your TX .177 dry for competition?

Just some horse-sense.

I have a .22 B40 that was bought from, and tuned by, MM. I had to remove the rollover comb on the stock to make it ambidextrous. I gave the stock a bedliner finish afterward bacause the wood wasn't quite nice enough to justify an oil finish, plus, I bought it for hunting. The bedliner finish is nearly indestructible. Mine gets right at 725 fps with RWS superdomes. It's not really broken in yet, either. I haven't shot it much at all and not at all since around Christmas. It's a good shooter.
