Upcoming dates
« on: March 16, 2010, 07:05:56 AM »
In an effort to make everybody's schedule easier to plan I'm working on 2 more future dates for fun shooting.

Sunday, March 28th
Sunday, April 25th

I realize the Sunday dates may not be ideal but at least until something changes with the paintball field reservation process that will be the day of the week we'll probably have to stick with.

I am contacting the camp today about those dates and will post here with any updates.  I figure for the next 3-4 shoots we'll try to gauge who is coming, interest level in matches of some kind and it will allow us a few months to slowly acquire some gear, plan shooting lanes, and get into a good rapport with our hosts.  Also, in light of several people having to drive significant distances I'm going to see about expanding the shooting time.  I may not be able to stay the entire time in many cases but I'm going to ask the camp management that as long as the only people using the field are those that have the waiver paperwork in place, have paid etc that anyone can stay as long as they want.  Mainly I just want them to know we'll be good stewards of the field.

Thanks again and as always, open to ideas or suggestions.

-Casey

How is this Sunday looking for people?  I'd like to give the camp a count by Thursday if at all possible.  Thanks!!  Otherwise we can postpone until April.

I wont make it this sunday.
I'm hunting on Saturday and that's my long drive to go shoot for the month.
I'll be there next month though.

Rich, we should be all set for Sunday.  I told them 9am to 3pm time window.  Like last time you can pay in the office upon arrival and your friend will need to sign the paintball waiver activity form.  $12 use fee like before.  Also, I think since we had some noise issues with the heavier duty guns, as much as I'd like to shoot them I think we'll need to stick to suppressed high power rifles or under 20fpe in general.  I just don't want the 'calling the cops' routine again. :-)

I think it's going to be a light turnout this time but I'll be there regardless.
