Found A Disco Stock In The Dumpster At Home Depot,, :)

Well,, kinda sorta. A few months ago I was picking up some supplys & they were unpacking a jacuzi. They were throwing away a bunch of 1x8 & 1x6,s in the dumpster. I thought,,,, man I could use that for some shelves n such!! Well,,, as a joke of sorts I laminated up 3 pcs of those scrap 1x8,s yesterday & cut a stock from them. I was gonna spray them with bedliner for durability & have a stock to play around with. Well,,,,, after I cut it out I realized my latest shipment of butt pads must be coming by pack mule & is STILL not here.So,, just to keep the joke goin I cut one out of scrap laminate. Hmmmm,,,, pretty cool looking I thought. Well,, must cut a hard grip cap from the same laminate as well!! Now,,,, what started out as a joke is now looking pretty cool. I just dont have the heart to spray this with black bedliner. The "Pad" is drilled to match my Pachmyr butt pad "Butt" I kinda like the looks of the Camo Green laminate!!I will be selling this one as a DIY for a bargain price. Spray it with bedliner ifin Ya want,,,,,, I just cant do it!! LOL!! Think I will stamp this one: "Dumpster 001" !!Timbo.

Heya Michael. The pics really dont do the "Pad: justice. It has a pretty pronounced curve kinda like a Morgan pad that really locks into your shoulder!! I cut 2 extras yesterday but the holes match the Pacmyr template in the pic. If you want one for your factory stock I can drill to match that also as I have 2 factory stocks/plastick pads here. I will cut one & install it on a factory stock today. I have several differant colors as well. Lemmie see how it goes,,,, Im thinking $8-$10. Watch the "Shop" later today.Tim.

timmy your majic wand keeps on working better and better ,each time i read one of your post of stocks i just ask myself why couldnt i be livin out in the south for some talent such as your,edd,s gene,s,ernies,charlies,howies,mideast mike melick,and the rest i didnt mentioned however the north has many great ones also ,im glad to be part of this amazing pack of family members that care and help each other out .....jorge lopez

I learned my trade in N.J. from my day and grandfather both master carpenters My dad  was a union journeyman  at age 18 he already served a 4 year apprenticeship , the old  European  type training and I learned the same way , all of us are not from the south. howie

Sorry ,howie i recall a conversation we hadabout a year and a half ago about u living up north before and that living in florida was some years ago .u really do have great skills anyway and im use to u being from florida and building nice stocksbut i meant no harm in any wayand i didnt say u guys learned in the south but that u guys come fromthe south thats all but i,m very sorry if i offended you or anyoneelsehere...jorge
