here she is guys the New baby in my collection Mac1LD
« on: March 18, 2010, 04:21:34 PM »

Well i got the Mac 1 LD. Put it all together. Put on the bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5 x32  dusk til dawn
put on a hangy tank which Tim shipped to me filled( thanks tim)
I shot it and it sound sooo weak. I chronyed it and you guessed it it was just Tims new brake that made it sound weak It shot between 547-549 fps using 14.3 cp's in my 50 degree basement. This thing is awsome i shot over 100 shots and the wife didnt even know i was shooting. at 10 yards i was hitting pen dots on the paper so i maxed it out to 19 (all i can get in the basement) and i was getting same hole groups. This thing is beautiful and a work of art The trigger is VERY nice, Balance is perfect with the compact scope on there and loading it is not bad
i used low mount scope rings (all i had) and the rear of the scope had just enough room between the tube and the rear sight to fit a dollar bill so it worked out perfect. I am blown away with this gun and it is well worth the money if your on the ropes with getting one
hre she is ..... put a papertowel on the key board befor viewing I know i should have made a mess of slobber on my keyboard

and the next day
well i decided to take the ld out today and shoot some distanc with it i shot up to 50 yards  40 yards i used my "bench" an aluminum foldup Sawhorse with a towel tied to it)
i am oly using 4.5 power as the scope is a banner 1.5-4.5 if i had higher mag i could have done better i am sure
top left of target was shot using polymags and was at 40 yards he wind was swirling with between 7 and 11 mph according to my meter i set at the target. and the very left hole there is the nail i used to hold it to the target
bottom left is crow mags at 40 yards and a few missed paper completely
top and bottom right are Crosman Ultramags (500 ct unsorted cp's)
the very bottom hole on the right is from the target below this i was sighting the condor in also and had a few flyers that one is one of em
and the middle target is off hand at 50 yards with CP's  not to bad i guess for shooting the LD at 50 yards off hand im sure i will get better with more trigger time with the LD and maybe a higher mag scope but this will work perfect for squirrel's and the small scope is light and gun balances perfect with it so for now its staying

well i went out again today  no wind and off a solid bench and i was getting Dime sized groups at 40 yards   :11:

this gun is by far one of my most accurate guns i own

thats a very nice looking pistol... looks almost identical to a ruger MKII... and I always loved the ergonomics of the ruger MK series
