Earlier this morning, I posted a new thread about what I had seen in my backyard. It was short and confined to topic. I hit submit then left. Awhile ago I returned to see if there had been any response. I couldn't find my post anywhere.... apparently it had been deleted. If it was was taken off because of a violation of policy, would someone tell me what was wrong? I'm not being indignant about it, I'd just like to know what happened so I won't make that mistake again.

Hey Ed...I don't recall the exact wording but it had to do with a flock of Starlings that had just landed in the yard. These were the first I'd seen in some time. Since I had 3 new rifles waitng for new targets, I got a bit excited...lol.  Really, I don't wanna make a big deal out of this...what I don't want is to make any mistakes posting here. If something about my thread was inappropriate, I'd like to know about it.
 By the way, how was your hunting trip this morning? Have any luck?

Doesn't sound like nothing that would be deleted but maybe moved to the Hunting Gate. The hunt was great, post sitting in the Hunting Gate. Ed

I thought that as well, but when I looked at the Hunting Gate I didn't see it there. As I said, I'm not trying to make an issue of it. I'm just curious....

I noticed this morning that a post I was attempting stalled for a very long time.  Eventually it took after several tries.      Maybe your post just went to Post Heaven.
