grease fitting for 1377
« on: March 19, 2010, 05:31:39 PM »
When you open up your 1377 and forget about the little tiny ball and spring for the safety and it shoots across the room and lands in another de mention. Try getting a straight regular grease fitting and carefully cut it in half the ball and spring both fit. When you try to reinstall them and they fly out it might help you find the first set that flew away. I found it works best if you remove the handle part from the tube put everything back together put the little ball in, the trigger, the sear, put the spring in and put the cover back on. The spring will be sticking out the top with no tension until the screws are tightened compressing the little spring as the handle is put back on.

I had to chase mine the first time I took it apart....Put a dab of grease on the ball and spring, then they will stay in place.
