Beeman R-9 0.20 Ammo
« on: March 22, 2010, 07:41:04 AM »
Hi everybody,

I have a Beeman R-9 in 0.20 caliber and I'm using JSB exact diabolo 13.5 gr as the ammo.  I know too light pellets or too heavy ones can damage the spring.  Are those 13.5 gr pellets too heavy to shoot or just right?

Thanks...Sam

heavy pellets haven't hurt my.20cal  r7 but they don't shoot all that fast so i stay light i think you should be fine with a r9s bigger spring

I personaly think those weight of pellets are to heavy only because it slows the power plant down too much but they aint gonna hurt the gun any, I think that power plant should be an 11.5gr pellet user  personaly this weight will give you a good balance of speed an power! Don't get to caught up in the to heavy is not good for the power plant springs are apart of the maintenance along with seals so enjoy your rifle!
