Just heat it up with a hair dryer them place a piece of leather or anything that will not slip them twist it up. The plastic sight is plastic with grooves but will return to original form when cooled down. When you remove the rear sight, you need to be careful on the rail for it's razor sharp. I filed mind down to be more user friendly after the lesson when I had like a razor cut on my thumb.

Hey Leo .. Got it .. thanks again... and again.. I will take it off tonight.front sight.  Leo I wonder...   my RS2 shoots high left almost always on the first and/or second shot . then starts to  group about  0.5 inch lower.i wonder if this is normal ..or is there still breakin  time needed.  also wonder if, in your experience  .. u..would  call this Ag hold sensitive to a great extent..  I'm very aware of  my hold and trigger squeeze..  before the shot.. I hold lightly  [unlike my high  power firearms] .The ag is basically rsupported on an arm chair .. so it aint me i think..

Looking good, your grouping should tighten up as she wears in. I have mine for over two years and she's well behave with 14.3 CPHP with no flyers. Just make sure all fasteners are loctited..specially the forestock screws..don't over tight this like gorilla tight and you will just compress the wood and screw will go through. Here's my RS2 with chopped .22 barrel with neighbor friendly Q-tip....you'll just hear the mainspring and pellet strike.

Hi Leo, what a beautiful Ag.. !! Love the look of the  "muzzle brake" here is my paper target today..and   suppressor..  you are/were  100% correct .I was getting worried .. but now see.. the grouping starting to  form.gun   calming down.. q-tip on mine is just a hollow tube with spring inside .Want to hear only   the spring and click  .. but do not know where or how..   i think I need baffles ..I'm right now at this moment trying to  have the same q-tip ..  but not informed . need your expertise . please..   . this has haunted me for a long time.. even with crosman 2240 .. i was in process of modding.. have all kind of plumbing supplies   .. from Lowes   etc.. sprinkler heads . steel connectors etc..  but find it hard to get a good design. How DID YOU DO IT>>   ?? or where did you get it .. but feel good   because  .. like good wine the rs2  is now taking on character..  and now feel confident of its ability . Thank  u again for your help .. and wisdom ..   AL

Funny you should post that. Mine always seems to shoot slightly high/left on the first shot also.
