Speaking of birds...

My wife got a batch of baby chicks a couple of weeks ago.  Who'd a thunk it, almost 50 and still a chick magnet :-)!

No fryers, just eggs.  Went and named them all, so now they're pets!  Regular Jeff Foxworthy material; " Ya might be a red neck if...you have a 4 foot stock tank in you living room for a chicken brooder!".  Best part of the whole thing?  My wife used to be Miss Super Yuppie :-)!

Gotta like the chickens for the eggs and drumsticks hehe. And Dave I get homesick sometimes I grew up in Seattle, did a lot of hunting and fishing in the cascades. Man I love Wa. state.

What part of Seattle and when, John?  And how'd a Seattle boy end up in Texas?  I grew up (okay, got big) there, too.  Moved to the East side in '99, can't say I miss the "Wet" side in the least!  Now I live in a tiny town on the East slopes of the Cascades, and like I tell my wife, the only way they'll get me out of this valley is feet first!  Later.
