First Crow Down!
« on: March 25, 2010, 05:10:15 AM »
Well I was out feeding the Quail and Chickens and I heard the infamous Caw Caw Caw!  I told the wife dont move an inch she is home with me today and doesnt get my obsession yet!  I eased into the shop and grabbed the Gamo Hunter 220 .177 broke her open and stuffed the CPHP in!  Looked around the corner and the wife was still standing there (Good Wife) and the crow was perched up on one of the Quail Houses just at 25 yards.  Dialed it in and let her fly....nothing but a somersault and a THWACK on the ground!  Lights out and first Crow for the Gamo!  Well needless to say I was Happy....first words out of my mouth "This one is going on the GTA"  the wife was like what, I said I will explain later!

Yes Sir,  we have a pair of Hawks that have been working the area for a couple weeks now also!  But we have done our best to spook them!  So far pretty good but we lose birds from time to time thats just part of it!  Most of the pens/houses are predator proof though!
