I heard that, too. But each airgun is different. Too many variables to consider. I believe the Vortek kit's main objective is to really control the spring vibration during the firing cycle. That is why they offer their own piston spring together with the vibration dampers as this idea won't work well if the spring and the guides don't fit perfectly. Just my guess, I think their spring is a little bit smaller in the O.D. to accommodate that rear end black delrin guide. If they really want to take this step a step higher the best way to do it is to offer their own piston unit together with the vortek kit just like the laza glide kit for the early Beeman R1's! Now, that's awesome! But using this concept for the lowly and humble B26 is an overkill. Imagine a tuning kit that costs 3 times more than the airgun itself. Hihihi! For me, I'm tweaking my own airguns because I can't afford a full tune myself. If I have the extra money I'd probably buy another B26 and tune it again. Hahaha! I know, I'm cheap! LOL!
