Need recommendation for a spinner or resettable

I'm starting to use my 11 year old R9 (it is .20) after a long period of inactivity. It has the Bushnell Sportview 4x-12x 40 mm scope that came as a combo deal from Beeman.

I'm no marksman, haven't even put a full tin of pellets through it in all these years. But would like to get a metallic spinner (or resetable) target for fun plinking from 25 to maybe 50 yards. I just like seeing a reaction and get bored punching paper. I see a lot of them, not sure which are good. Any recommendations? Cheap is good, or moderate, but I'm not ready to buy any high end stuff unless I really get into shooting this thing a lot.

Any recommendations? How is the Beeman swinging target with 4 animals? I can't tell what range it is for - worried they might be too small?

I find that the metal targets from  Steelplinkers are very nice and the price you pay for the durabity and perecision of his products is well worth the money.

Old spoons of various sizes with the handles bent over a horizontal rod are cheap and fun.

The spoons on a nail are a fun target to as they are light and really spin nicely:)

I also like the basic designs from Steelplinkers but it isn't clear if they perform well when hit by airgun rounds. I don't have a high velocity airgun (mine is the R9 in .20). The steelplinkers stuff seems like it needs the energy of a .22 bullet to make it spin.

I got a bunch of spoons from the dollar store and t lengths of allthread with a coupler nut. Drilled holes in an old electric service box, bent the spoons over the allthread and bolted it together in the service box then hung it from my back fence. I use some big paper clamps to keep them apart but you could use more nuts and bolts to make spacers or use cloths line pins to keep them spaced apart. When the spoons get too damaged just head off to the dollar store and get 5 bucks worth again to clean it back up.

I have the gamo resetting squirrel, gamo pellet trap with the hanging targets that stay up when hit and both work very well. Haven't hit them with the 350 mag yet but they stand up the the hunter and big cat very well. You can change the size of the bullseye on the squirrel target to make it easy or hard. I also have a steel chicken about 2 in tall that was made for 22 shooting. It works very well but just hangs there and swings when you hit it. I don't recommend the beeman trap with 4 haning silohouette animals. I have already blown through the back of it and it's barely 2 months old.

The Steelplinkers targets respond well with pellets, and the quadrant target

allows you to "sight in" well. Set it up about 25 or 30 yards, and the 3/4 inch bullseye is a challenge to hit. When you center it, even a .177 pellet will make it spin round nicely. If you miss, you can see which quadrant reacts. Hit upper right several times, you know you need to come down and left.

My quadrant has lasted well, and generates interest when I have taken it to group shoots, taking more than its share of lead.

I really like the Gamo resetting squirrel target, can get it at wallyworld or Pyamid Air for around $20.00.... I also like the Birchwood Casey Gallery Resetting Airgun Target that i ordered from Pyamid Air at $18.00.  Both have held up very well and I use them all the time....

If so you must be hitting it pretty darn hard.  I use it at 10m with my low powered rifles, and it has done just fine.  Although I would like the option of using different size ROUND targets rather than silhouettes

After looking at various options I decided to make my own, at least my first one until I figure out what else I might want. I have a welder and welded up a rebar frame, then hung a couple metal squares using shark leader material. Works great and I was surprised at the power transferred to the targets. I used some heavy gauge sheetmetal and had to go find some mild steel bar stock after the sheetmetal ones started to deform. These heavier ones are pretty good - one even has nice "ptang" sound to it. Was good fun shooting it up today!

this is the trap I knocked the back out of. The first shot at 35 ft knocked the base off the ram. I hit it with the Gamo Hunter np when it was bone stock. It works good from longer range 25 + yards. I still use it to hold paper targets.

Ah that one.
It is made of sheet metal.  

The other one is plate metal and will take more beating.
