Had to get the youngest daughter out of the house for a few minutes this morning so the Easter Bunny could do his thing. I decided to take her down the dairy to show up a few new born calves. On the way over to the calf pen I spotted a little seed raider poking his head up out of some tires. While my daughter was busy playing with a calf I kept my eyes on the spot I saw the squirrel. Within just a few minutes I saw 2 ears and 2 eyes peering over a tire again, I wanted to wait and see if he would show a little more of himself. I few seconds later I had the entire noggin in view. At only 25 yards I placed the crosshairs right between the eyes and sent the CPHP on its way. I saw the squirrel just drop right out of the bottom of the scope. I really need to learn to let them get out away form their hole as I had to reach down into his hole to retrieve this one for his photo op. Oddly enough the entry hole had no blood around in but where it exited out the back of his neck was very bloody. I posed him the B28 for a few pictures and then we headed back home to see what the Easter Bunny had dropped off. Enjoy the pics and happy Easter everyone.
