big cat stock trigger

Hey yall, I've been laid off so I'm getting a lot of trigger time with my Big Cat.  Now all of you know what the stock trigger is like, and I want to make it better.  The problem is that I don't have spare cash to buy the GRT-III, so is there anything I can do to make the stock trigger better?

Shoot it. Over time it eases up a bit.

If you can disassemble it and polish the contact points while still keeping their original angle it can make the stock trigger lighter and crispier. To make it with a lesser trigger pull weight while still making it safe just take out the rear trigger blade tension spring and it will do the trick.

Untill I get my grt3 , I've been useing a dowel rod piece to take up 1/2 of trigger pull, place behind trigger at top & press, just be careful & keep pointed in safe direction & I mean be careful!!!!!! I think it's 1/2"? really shortens trigger pull. or just point safe pull half of trigger travel & then site & fire

Yep....with my only "stock" trigger on my Crosman G1 Extreme....I`ve gotten abit used to it.  I pull the trigger about 1/2" and then carefully hold still while sighting in...continue pulling abit untile the sear releases.  There`s one screw behind the trigger....if I remember correctly, I`ve turned that screw almost all the way in to get a crisper release.  All my other Crosmans and Gamos have a GRT III trigger on them.
