Had a grackle ( I think thats what it is) in our tree and he was making alot of noise so I got the condor, loaded it up, and let him have it.  The PEJ does a very nice job at PW 5.

Well he was about 20 yards away, and at PW 5 range my condor spits the 32gr PEJ out at around 900fps, or 58fpe at the muzzle.  So I would guess he got around 45fpe at the 20 yard range.  It was a fresh 2800 psi fill too.  Kodiaks go around 1000-1050 at PW 5 and Crow Magnums go supersonic.

A grackle with a Condor?  Looks like he's been through a rice picker!  Nice carnage.  Haven't seen imagery like that on the forum in a while.  I've got a few morning chirpers round my Fathers house in the mornings that I'd like to take out but I'm right in the middle of suburbia and my quietest gun isn't with me at the moment.  Nice shot!

Good shot at that Grackle...if it`s a Grackle that would be a "her" since it`s got black/brown feathers on the head.  Male Grackles have shiny blue feathers around the head.  Your powerful Condor smacked it good for sure!!!

Ah thanks for that info, not sure what it is, I do know it is a bird thats black, and has been running the good birds (cardinals and other song birds) away also.  We have had swarms of them here this year.. Condor does the job and is very quiet so that neighbors don't hear Also has good range, I've gotten squirrels from 70 yards away, headshot, dead instantly.  Condor is a great gun and only airgun I use now.
