No Safe Haven for Grey Squirels In South Carolina..
« on: April 05, 2010, 02:42:55 PM »
Well this afternoon Ed said he needed a fix.. So he went into the house and grabbed the new Crosman Trail NP .22 he has been clutching for 4 days with dear life...:) While I was in the shop working on a new project he was hunting greys..:) Here is his tally for this afternoon.. He hit the grey in the fuse box on left side of head and exited just above shoulder on right side. This shot was approximatly 30 yards and up 30 feet high in a tree. Beeman Field Target Specials .22 was the lead used..:)
THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Great shooting on the squirrel. Looks like you guys are having some nice weather in your neck of the woods. A late season storm is expected to give us 4 to 6 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Just as the ground squirrels here were starting to get active. I'm doing my best not to buy that gun and seeing this and reading posts about it is doing nothing for the well being of my marriage.

Nice shot Ed.

My Trail NP really likes the Beeman FTS pellets too. Good velocity and accurate as well.

Good shooting Ed. Hope you get that cold bug just as dead as the nutter.

Too bad you guys don't have an XL to play with also. If I wasn't having such fun with mine, I'd a shipped it down there for you two to try !   :D

I think we know the real storey here.     Gene is making his house guests hunt for thier dinners.   And has disquised it as having fun shooting and hunting and such.

Hey, whats for breakfast?
