Nailed a Starling at 63 yards with a Gamo Viper with a .177 CPHP.  Hit a softdrink can at 100 yards with a Gamo Big Cat shooting cheapy .177 Crosman Huniting pellets (Very lucky shot though....only 1 out of 30 shots.....the rest were close as I could see the snow puff up).

Can't compete with some of these shots...best I've done is straight pins...4 in a row at 10 meters with the Marauder...22 cal.

My best airgun shot didn't involve an airgun so while technically it wasn't an airgun shot, it was a phenomenal non-powder shot; It was made with my handmade slingshot.  I was fishing with a couple friends in a backwater swamp.  I always carry my slingshot to bust snakes and turtles and such.  The area had a lot of old dead cypress trees that reached high into the sky.  A lone crow landed in the very tip top of one of those dead cypress trees about 40 yards away and 60 feet up.  I loaded a .32 caliber lead ball in the pouch and let it fly.  THWACK!  His wings went straight out and he helicoptered down into the water.  He raised his head, gave a half-hearted squawk, then expired!  Lead to the Head!  We were all pretty astounded and my friends claimed it was a lucky shot, BUT I was aiming at the crow and DID intend to hit him so was it REALLY luck?  Of course it was!  That same slingshot has taken Spadefish at the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, snakes, turtles, a very unlucky crow and even a Cattle Egret (stupid) once.

Thats pretty stinking good with a sling shot! Last time I shot mine was in Yuma, taped a squirrel picture to the fence and let a nice glass marble fly. It flew right over the fance and creamed the fridge on the neighbors back porch! Left a crater about the size of a basket ball. How I missed a 6 ft wooden fence I couldent tell you. But I killed the crap out of the fridge! lol

Hmm- I literally dropped a rabbit in its tracks at 70 yards with the MP513 once (rested from a fence). It was a heart shot. Bunnyflopped and never moved another muscle. I don't normally shoot them that far, but I had beenpracticing at long range all day and it was dialed in.

The one I remember best was the crow with the R7- perfect head shot. Wasn't all that far,but it was a very vertical shot at the top of a tall tree on top of the tall slope at my old house, It dropped in a heap. Most gratifying.

I hesitated posting this, as it sounds to much like B.S.,

But a few years ago I was in my back yard, when my father-in-law saw a dove on the top of the tree in the front yard, and bet me that I couldn't' hit it !!! So being an air gun nut ! I bet him !

Now this shot was at least 40 yards, and was taken with my Sheridan ,20 cal air rifle of many years ! After guessing the pellet drop at that distance, and checking the wind, I took the shot ! It seemed like minutes, and my father-in-law was already spending his winnings, when the bird dropped !!!! And as much to my surprise as it was to my father-in-law, who was now out $10.00 !

It's all true, he is 84 years old now,and still mentions it from time to time :o
