TO: TUNERS HELP - TRIGGER PROBLEM WITH NEW SPRING E-3650 //// HELP

HI GUYS

YESTERDAY I RECEIVED A JM SPRING FOR A GAMO WHISPER VH .177. E-3650

THE PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT INSERT THE TRIGGER SEAR IN POSITION TO POSITION THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY.

I SPENT LIKE 4 HOURS TRYING TO FIT IT BUT I COULD NOT DO IT.


ANY HELP TO PERFORM THIS TASK.

Hi Gerald   it is hard to understand without a picture but from my experience with installing gamo trigger is you have to hold up on the sear which is spring loaded and wants to fall down in the tube but hold up on the sear as you slide the trigger into position and the front tab of the sear should rest on the outer tube. I hope this helps.

Gerald... First lesson as a tuner... Have patients.. Ok, you need to use a small screwdriver to lift up the seer so it rests on top of action as you are compressing the spring. Tools that are required.....Three hands and 12 fingers?....:) Only tuners come equipped with those extra tools...:)

OK .... GENE WHEN YOU SAID ON TOP OF THE ACTION.... YOU MEAN THE SEAR LEVEL ON TOP OF THE SMALLMETAL BRIDGE THAT IS LOCATED AT THE FRONT POSITION OF THE TRIGGER ASSAMBLY?

I keep my camera handy and take lots of pics at multiple angles every step of the way when I disassemble.  You wouldn't believe, wait yes you would now, how many times it saved my bacon!  Even then I will sometimes look at the pictures and still not remember how they go back together.  Like Gene said you learn "forced" patience working on these buggers.  I think the worst are the Chinese rifles.  They have so many trigger configurations it is mind boggling!

So how is she shooting?

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM DUE WHEN I WAS REMOVING THE SPRING THE TRIGGER ASSAMBLY FALL OFF.... SO I DO NOT KNEW

HOW IT WAS POSITIONED, BUT...... THANKS TO YOU GUYS.... AS SOON I SAW THE PICTURE THE WORK SHOP OPENED.


THE GAMO WHISPER VH IS ALREADY TUNED AND COMPLETLY ASSAMBLED..... FINISH TIME 10:20PM
