I went to my grandparent's farm this morning to sight in my new Browning T-bolt .17hmr . I also took my Benjamin Discovery with me to hopefully drop some of the starlings there. The starlings make a real mess in the roof of grandpa's shop - it's full of straw from them building nests year after year.
The first one that fell to a pellet was sittin' real purty on the corner of the roof, just singing it's heart out. The distance was about 40 yards and a quick shot sent the bird towards the dirt.
The second starling was sittin' at the top of the barn roof when I dropped it with a 20 yard offhand shot.
There's still more starlings flying around over there, so I'll drop more again soon. My dad and I are going to Alberta next Friday to shoot gophers so I'll have pics of the gophers I take with my Disco and T-bolt. I'll be sure to share them with you guys.
Take care!
Brian
