Help with my Scuba setup....please??
« on: April 12, 2010, 03:22:31 AM »
Hey fellas,

Finally I'm tired of pumping... That and my pump crapped out on me when I started pumping up the Marauder. So I have already purchased a 3500psi steel tank, and SO I know I need a DIN valve connector, with quick disconnect female foster fitting to fill my Benji's.

So I've already placed an order for an Airforce Adapter from PA, But I just wanna make sure this thing is gonna fit my guns. It looks like the correct Size, And I think Airforce pumps fits Benjis, so I am just looking for a lil peace of mind from you guys......here is the link

please help, Thanks

Yeah...  I Just called Pyramyd Air to confirm, And their tech confirmed for me that those quick disconnects are an industry standard. So i should be able to fill my guns no prob.

I've already dropped my tank off at the scuba shop to get its new visual inspection + a 3500psi fill.
adapter will be here wednesday....can't wait!

no more pumping for me

Ummmm...if you already have a quick disconnect on the old beny pump and hose...why not just buy the din regulator and save some money?

Hey Thump.... I'm gonna keep it for a back up Air source, especially for those times like right now. when my 3500 psi tank gets below 3000 psi....and I can only fill the gun to like 2800psi..... just top off with the pump.

I see guys on the yellow selling them all the time though....Good luck

NICE.......I was looking at buying one of  Joes' 4500psi carbon fiber Tanks, it came with everything needed. Only problem was finding scuba shops that fill to 4500psi. ( and believe me I have a nice selection of places to get filled in my area)

The shops say "filling to 4500 psi puts a lot of stress on their compressors". And most don't fill that high... some don't even fill to 3500psi. Although I WAS able to find (1) scuba shop that filled to close to 4500 psi. it was 30mi. away.

that's why I chose a 3500psi tank

I go to the same scuba shop as the myth busters on the discovery channel, here in SF
