NEED ADVICE
« on: April 12, 2010, 08:18:45 AM »
Recently a friend of mine and I were talking about the coon problem I have been dealing with and to my surprise he has had air rifles fore many years he has a couple of older Diana springers that look great.......but he advised me to use PCP....THEN HE UNVIELED A FANTASTIC BEAUTIFUL FX TARANTULA .22 that he has had since 2000 or 2003 he coulnt remember exactly when he got the wood stock and a synthetic stock version for his son. he just said..take it home with you and try it out..don't use your springer.

I was shocked he would let me take it and his FX pump.He warned me that it had been some time since he used it and it was very low on air and he hoped that the o-rings on the pump were still good.Well as luck would have it the pump would not supply the juice to the rifle. the nozzle kinda just slides in easy and never really stays in while pumping..after about 300 strokes and help from my daughter pumping we gave up.

My buddy remember buying some o-rings at a gun show and thought that he may have got some in the past from Straight Shooters.T make a long story short I asked him to consider teaming up with me (when I finally buy a PCP) and purchase a tank etc. For know any assistance or advise youcan offer so I can get the pump going would be graetly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

Ask FX, rebuild kits are available here in Europe. Or check their local representative  http://www.fxairguns.com/
