I am just going to take the crash at face value for now, although it's difficult not to speculate in the former Warsaw Pact. History has shown Russian airlines to be bigger, and less discriminating, killers than KGB.
The irony of this tragedy en route to commemorate survivors of the Soviet Katyn Forest Massacre is intense.
