Hello & Thanks
« on: April 13, 2010, 07:34:20 AM »
Hey All,
I  am basically new here.
I started shooting pellet & bb Guns when I was a young kid & fell in love with the sport.
Don't know what happen maybe just the fast past of life. I had not shot for a long time.
Got into archery & bow hunting back in 2004 & got hooked. Been very blessed & successful In such a short time.
Anyhow I am out on disability right not with a shoulder injury from work & had to put the bow down.
My wife bought me a Whisper for Christmas & I really enjoyed it .177 real accurate. The spring went bad
so I sent it back. I was debating what to get another Whisper or a Benji. in .22
I ordered the Benji Trail XL .22 It is a great riffle but a bit long & heavy for me I am only 5'6"
So I sent it back & got the Np Trail, What a great riffle I put the CDT trigger & a $100.00 leapers scope on it. Bought the straight shooters pellet sampler & found that it likes the JSB 18.1 gr.This thing puts the pellets in the same hole @ 30 yards & am truly pleased with this
riffle.
I will write a little in the hunting side & let you all know how it did in the field.
I just want to say thanks to all of you on this sight for all your help, direction & tips.
Respectfully
Matthew

Thanks again guys for the warm welcome,
I thought about a pcp but I read that it is illegal to own a comp. in ca.
as far as the surgery it went well I believe it is down hill from here & then back to work.
I am one handed right now with this shoulder out but I have a good friend with the new XL & this week he said that he will be by to do some shooting & that he will
cock & load the np for me.
That is what good friends are for right?

Hey Matthew..Glad to hear the shoulder surgery went well. Not sure what your trouble was but I've had rotator cuff surgery and the rehab was almost as bad. Anytime they take a knife to you, it's not pleasant. Take it easy for awhile and you'll do fine.
