Trigger creep on CF-X
« on: June 30, 2006, 09:30:39 AM »
Guys,
I'm a newbie, just bought a CF-X a couple of weeks ago.  I've shot about 600 rounds through it.  Seems like a nice rifle except for the trigger which is apparently a common problem.  If I knew when my rifle was gonna fire I'd be more accurate.  The second stage has as much creep as the first stage 99% of the time.  Also, it's not a smooth pull.  The other 1% of the time the trigger doesn't want to move on the second stage but suddenly fires after applying enough pressure.  Is this the problem with this trigger that a lot of folks are having?  Can I do anything to solve it?  I thought the second stage should have very little movement before it fires.  Am I wrong?  Thanks,

you will notice a nite and day difference. GTX triggers are fantastic. You always know where the breaking point is. Smooth and predictable. I have a few Gamo Rifles and all but one has the GTX trigger. Like many posts say, the CFX is a good rifle out of the box but with a new GTX trigger it is a GREAT Rifle..

Good Luck
