Ok so I got my H&N Pellets on Monday and have done some shooting with them. What I have to say is wow! Only 2 clicks both wind-age and elevation to zero in from shooting the Beeman Coated HPs so I can shoot both pellets with just a little mental adjustment. Might just split the clicks and deal with the 1/8 inch difference. Oh this is with the H&N Field Target Trophy .177 Cal, 8.64 Grains, Domed pellet.
These are clean, polished and have very little dust on them. They also seem to group very nicely.
I also got a tin of the H&N Crow Magnum .177 Cal, 8.80 Grains, Hollowpoint. Also very clean pellets. These shoot 1 half mil dot right and one half up from the FTT @ 35 to 40 yards and group one hole standing gun rested on a tack driver bag. Managed to take down a ground squirrel while testing out the FTT pellets, he walked right into my range while I was shooting. 35 yards one shot got him in the heart and lung area and he dropped 1 foot away. The sound of the impact was huge like dropping a small book on a table.
Going to try out these in my Beeman RS2 this weekend and if they work good there too I will be picking up more (many more) of these right away.
