Evening pigeon
« on: April 16, 2010, 04:50:07 PM »
Well my brother-in-law was hearing about my pellet gun outings and asked if could come along. So after a morning turkey hunt without any turkey being shot I decided that tonight would be good to shooting something else with feathers. So we headed out to my buddy's property to shoot something. We started out by shooting some pistols, 41 and 45 cal which was a lot of fun. We than dug out the ground to get a flatter surface to sit on and to hide us a little better in the blind. This time I also brought my 5 year daughter, who was excited to "watch dad shoot something". As it turns out only 1 pigeon came around with about 45 min sitting in the blind. The Mendoza did it's thing, but only once tonight :{

that is a nice looking bird! Yep, I think shared experiences are always better, especially when shared with children. 1 bird shot with company is better than 2 birds dropped alone...
Yea, though I walk through the garden in the shadows of pests,
I will fear no squirrel: For thou art with me;
thy scope and thy trigger, they comfort me.

What!!!  You went shooting without me!!!  What did Perrie say when you whacked it?

Hope you have your AR & pellets loaded up for tomorrow!  Just finished pumping the 850 up to 3300# and she's ready.  Greased a starling this morning at my dad's house.
