Never seen a rat in my neighborhood.

Rats and mice are nocturnal, night critters !

Night time ?   There's plenty to be seen out during the day in DC and just about every state capital. And they tend to be seen in even larger numbers every four years.

We had quite a few running around here during the day, shortly after they shut down a local grainery. Since they weren't wearing ties, my neighbor and I shot them off the compost pile with my Crosman 760 !!!

I have not acutually seen a rat at my place either and I live out in a wood  country area!  I googled this http://www.ramshornstudio.com/rat_history.htm  and was very surprized to read Quote:- (North America does have its own rat species. Only thing I can say is that big cities have lots of two legged rats... and also 4 legged rats.. When I was a young man still in school, one day while walking to school I saw a man who had two huge rats with collars on  leash's.. These rats were as big as a miniature dog... They were dark brown with lite spots on them, and I lived in a big city then..)

I've seen rats 4 legged & the useless 2 legged I agree with the 1911 medicine in .45,but I really enjoy my matched set of kimber .50GI for the 2 leg type,make's them squeal really loud!!! but hard to hit they move so darn fast!?!

Im from ny and they are abundant out here and they are not afraid .We could never get rid of them or control the amount neither.They wear designer clothes also hehehehe thats to mistaken them for midgets hehehe thats how big they are in some places .In my neighborhood i walk with a bb gun i have with a red lazer on it and pop pop and down the incernerator they go in a plasic bag .I see them everyday that they call me by name ,however there is two hawks that live in my area and from time to time i see them scoop them from the ground ,those hawks are big and wing span also spead wide they are beautiful to watch them in flight.....jorge
