American Airgunner: Cast question

What happened to Tom Gaylord?  While I enjoy the beautiful Crystal Ackley, I miss Tom a bit for his expertise.  This week was a good episode since they were featuring one of my favorite springers: the RWS 350.

Apparently according to pyramyds blog tom is having alot of health problems... and is currently in the hospital again :(
